Third patient got a Neuralink brain implant. The work is part of a booming field-Elon Musk

Elon Musk addressed a campaign town hall in support of Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump in Folsom, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. During a live-streamed interview at a Las Vegas event on his social media platform X, Musk announced that a third individual has received an implant from his brain-computer interface company, Neuralink, which is among several organizations working to link the nervous system with machines. Musk stated, “We’ve got three humans with Neuralinks, and all are functioning well.” He noted that since the first brain implant was performed about a year ago, the company has improved the devices by increasing the number of electrodes, enhancing bandwidth, and extending battery life. He also mentioned that Neuralink aims to implant experimental devices in an additional 20 to 30 individuals this year. As the US Elections day is just less than 10 hours from now and Americans are preparing to decide their future and the World's the entire Universe stands still. Recent polls results have indicated that the race for the Whitehouse between Harris and Trump has gotten so tight and unpredictable. This unpredictability can only be resolved by the American voters and who they decide to vote into the Oval Office on November 5. The World's destiny is now at the mercy of American voters and their sense of what befalls the planet when the wrong Man gets the best job in the world. Africa and the third world countries should understand that whatever happens tomorrow determines how their future would be since the third world depends on good US policies to thrive. As most African and Asian countries face hunger, due to drought which is caused by changes in the climate and bad governance that has brought untold hardship, hunger strive and avoidable deaths, we can not but pray harder for a better choice to be made by the American voters. Therefore, as the world stands and we think into the thoughts of American voters with the goal of electing the right person for the Whitehouse ,it must clear that the most important thing that the world needs today is an end to the somany wars in former homelands turned battlefields. As our US brothers go out to cast their votes on November 5 they must bear in mind that they have the destiny of the world's 8billion or more persons in their thumb and must cast every one vote with the world at heart.
