Elon Musk addressed a campaign town hall in support of Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump in Folsom, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, October 17, 2024. During a live-streamed interview at a Las Vegas event on his social media platform X, Musk announced that a third individual has received an implant from his brain-computer interface company, Neuralink, which is among several organizations working to link the nervous system with machines. Musk stated, “We’ve got three humans with Neuralinks, and all are functioning well.” He noted that since the first brain implant was performed about a year ago, the company has improved the devices by increasing the number of electrodes, enhancing bandwidth, and extending battery life. He also mentioned that Neuralink aims to implant experimental devices in an additional 20 to 30 individuals this year. US Ambassador to Kenya Meg Whitman resigns

 The United States Ambassador to Kenya, Meg Whitman has resigned.


In an official statement on Wednesday November 13, Whitman announced she had submitted her resignation to President Joe Biden, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve and strengthen the US-Kenya partnership.


"I am proud to have led a people-centered agenda that saves lives, enhances security, and creates economic opportunities for both Kenyans and Americans," she stated.


The American envoy highlighted her role in securing emergency funding to address flooding in 2023 and support ongoing efforts against malaria, HIV, and MPOX.


She noted that her work also grew opportunities for American companies in Kenya. "When I arrived in 2022, I focused on strengthening these ties through my 'Why Africa, Why Kenya?' presentation to American businesses. Trade, jobs, and U.S. investment in Kenya are at historic highs thanks to these efforts," sh
